Michael Alan Healy

Michael Alan Healy

Founder/Lead & Rhythm Guitar/Vocals

Michael Alan Healy has been traveling through time and space in a meat and bone time machine that was created on a military base in the center of America in 1962. This organic machine grew to an alarming size during the 70’s and is now 2 meters tall and 100 kg.

Operating the machine from within with mind control, Michael Alan Healy has learned to manipulate long thin bits of stainless steel stretched over electromagnetic coils to produce pleasing frequencies. At times he will expel air in a controlled manner over a series of taught muscle strips in the upper region of the MBTM and emit a code comprised of 26 discrete elements that he combines in many different ways to communicate to other meat and bone time machines.

Pat Mundy: born under a bad sign, if it wasn‘t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have no luck at all.

Bass/Vocals

Michael Stecher began as a drummer at the age of 3. He studied drum in middle school; he could play rudiments quite well, on one drum, and was selected for the Marin Youth Honor Band. He argued with his father in high school, who, despite Michael buying his own drum kit, would neither pay for lessons, nor let him grow his hair long. Michael realized later, that rock and roll was the baby of blues, and taught himself 12 bar blues harmonica in college. He received a guitar for his 26th birthday, and couldn’t play. Two years later, his ability to play only scales delivered him to his first band as a bass player. He plays chords now; it has been 27 years. Michael places a premium on playing the song, as it should be played, with feeling. Any key. Any Timing. Bass on.
